Natural-Looking Wrinkle Reduction
You have frown lines, crow’s feet, or forehead lines and you’re wondering if there’s a natural solution for making them disappear. Botox® Cosmetic is the #1 product of its kind since 2002. Women and men enjoy subtle, yet noticeable results and smoother skin with a simple injection. You’ll still look like yourself – just with less lines.
What is Botox® Cosmetic?
Botox® Cosmetic is an injectable made from botulinum toxin produced by a specific bacteria.Through decades of research, scientists discovered that this toxin can be harnessed for beneficial therapeutic and aesthetic purposes. The toxin temporarily blocks nerve signals so that facial muscles and your wrinkles can relax. This creates the appearance of smooth, younger skin.

How Can Botox® Help Me?
Your face shows all the squints, smiles, frowns, and ups and downs. While some people embrace their well-worn lines, others might just miss their look from years ago. Botox® temporarily relaxes the muscles that cause wrinkles between your eyebrows, on your forehead, or around your eyes. This non-surgical treatment not only helps to enhance your facial aesthetics but can also boost your confidence. You’ll still be able to make all your usual facial expressions, but with fewer lines.

Wrinkle-Reducing SolutionWhat to Expect - Botox® & Aesthetics at GlowSpring Health
You will begin with an initial consultation with one of our functional medicine practitioners. During this visit, we will discuss your health goals, medical history, and current health status. We will determine if you’re a good fit for Botox® injections and other aesthetic services. We will customize your treatment to get the exact results you’re looking for.
The injection only takes a few minutes. First, your practitioner will make marks on your face to help as a guide for the injection points. Then, the medicine is injected with a fine needle into specific facial muscles. If you’re concerned about discomfort, a numbing cream can be applied to the injection site. Most patients describe the injection as feeling like a “pinch”. There is minimal recovery time after treatment, so you can return to your normal routine almost immediately.
Individual responses vary, but you should notice fewer facial lines and wrinkles within the first week. It may take up to 30 days to see the full effect.
Botox® is not a permanent treatment. Once Botox® is injected, effects last 3-6 months. Results can last up to 4 months for moderate to severe frown lines. After that, the muscles move again and wrinkles come back. On average patients visit 3-4 times a year for treatments.
We believe in a holistic approach to aesthetics. Incorporating nutrition, lifestyle changes, and other complementary therapies helps to achieve glowing skin. Our 5-Point Model System addresses the realms that impact overall health. These include (1) natural hormones, (2) nutrition, (3) toxins, (4) mind/heart, and (5) body. We offer exceptional patient education on health maintenance and preventative strategies.

When injected correctly and at the proper dose, you will still look like yourself. Botox® blocks nerve signals to the muscle so they relax. The muscles used to make facial expressions are typically the same muscles that cause wrinkles and lines. The “frozen face” look is the result of a large number of injections or an inexperienced injector. Our technique is safe and effective for minimizing wrinkles, yet allowing for facial expressions. The majority of patients in clinical trials agree that Botox® Cosmetic provides natural-looking results.
The formulas differ slightly, but all contain Botulinum toxin type A. They are all FDA-approved injectables. They differ in the length of time they last and how quickly results are visible. They also differ in cost. Xeomin is the least likely to cause an allergic reaction. The number of units needed for each injection area differs with each formula. We have chosen Botox® Cosmetic due to its impressive track record, cost effectiveness, and results we achieve with our patients.
The cost depends on how many units of Botox® are used in each treatment which varies from person to person. Botox® Cosmetic and other aesthetic services are generally not covered by insurance.
